A LOVE LETTER TO THE CRAFT OF WRITING

I never know what I’m going to write about week-by-week, but I see the ambiguity of my writing process as part of the fun. To keep track of what I learn about along the way, I’ve created this place to hold

Meet The Resident Scribbler

Christal

I teach writing at Utah Valley University. As a graduate from ISU’s MFA in Creative Writing and Environment, my pedagogy and projects often explore how writing can better foster environmental stewardship.

When I’m not writing, you can find me exploring the outdoors, tucked away in a cozy cafe, or huddled up in my home, scribbling, with candles and ambient music drifting out my bedroom window.
